The SUNY Oneonta men's track & field team split its squad this weekend sending athletes to both Boston University and Cornell University. The Red Dragons' efforts produced personal best performances in the non-scoring events.

Boston University Recap
The 200 and 400-meter events produced several personal best marks and season best performances. Senior
Nicholas Grasso (Goshen/Burke Catholic) led the way with a pair of season best performances of 23.02 and 50.88 seconds in the 200 and 400 respectively.

There was a total of five personal best times recorded in the 200. This group included junior
Jared Stauss (Kerhonkson/Rondout Valley) (23.69), sophomore
Jeremy Howell (Stony Point/North Rockland) (24.33) and freshmen
Tyler Price (Stephentown/New Lebanon) (23.64),
Terrence Christian () (23.65) and Tyler Lopresti (23.85). Lopresti also posted a personal best time in the 400 crossing in 53.28 seconds.

In the 800 meters, senior
Isaiah Ruiz (Staten Island/Susan E. Wagner) recorded a season best time of 2:03.30.

Rookie
Cameron O'Connell (Liverpool/Liverpool) posted a personal best time of 2:37.66 in the 1,000 meters.

The mile saw three personal best times recorded. Seniors
Sean Ryan (Bronxville/Bronxville) and
Blake Dellabough (Warwick/Warwick) crossed the finish line with times of 4:20.90 and 4:33.28 respectively. Freshman
Andrew Rainbolt (Staten Island/Monsignor Farrell) posted a time of 4:29.56.

Cornell Recap
There was one personal best time turned in by freshman
Justin Murillo (Elmont/New Hyde Park) in the mile. Murillo finished in 4:55.68 finishing 29
th overall in the race.

The remaining personal best marks on the day were turned in by the rookie throwers. Freshman
Zachary Cotter (North Salem/North Salem) posted a pair of personal best performances in the shot put (9.71m, 31'-10 ¼") and weight throw (11.43m, 37'-6"). Classmates
Miles Moliterni (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) and
Gunnar Hassard (Oneonta/Oneonta) recorded personal best marks in the shot put (10.29m, 33'-9 ¼") and weight (10.00m, 32'-9 ¾") respectively.

The men will head back to Ithaca next Saturday to compete in the Bomber Invitational.
