The SUNY Oneonta field hockey team suffered a 3-2 setback to Hartwick College Wednesday eveing at Wright Stadium. The loss drops the Red Dragons record to 2-1 on the year.

Hartwick struck first at the 2:31 mark of the first quarter on an Allyson Quirk goal. Oneonta responded with back-to-back goals before the end of the first stanza. Freshman

Cali Cortese (Yorktown Heights/Lakeland).
Chloe Lynch (Baldwinsville/Baldwinsville) gave the Red Dragons the lead when she scored on a penalty corner on a feed from freshman
Sophia Little (Northport/Northport).
Hartwick tied the game at 2-2 in the second quarter on a Brooke Singer goal off a corner. The scored remained the same until the 57th minute when Sydney Gagon scored the game-winner for the Hawks on a pass from Leah Tolley.
