The SUNY Oneonta field hockey team beat Oswego 5-1 in SUNYAC action Saturday afternoon at All College Field. The win evens the Red Dragons record to 5-5 overall and 1-1 in league play.

Oneonta got on the board just 1:28 into the game on
Alise Anson's (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) team-leading sixth goal of the season. The Lakers knotted the game at 1-1 in the fifth minute when Kathleen Little scored on corner.

The Red Dragons took the lead for good in the 24
th minute when
Grace Bilow (Webster/Webster Thomas) scored on a penalty corner on a pass from
Colleen Geyer (West Nyack/Clarkstown South).
Cali Cortese (Yorktown Heights/Lakeland) added to the Oneonta lead just 1:20 into the second half when she ripped a shot through traffic to make score 3-1. Freshmen
Morgan Fleming (Harpursville/Harpursville) and
Carly Waszczak (Northport/Northport) netted their first collegiate goals in the fourth quarter to give the Red Dragons the 5-1 victory.
