Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 The Red Dragons go 0-3 at the Ducks Classic and fall to this weekend in Hoboken, NJ. This weekend brings the Red Dragons record down to 2-9.

 In the first match of the Ducks Classic the Red Dragons would drop a thriller to New York University 3-2. The Red Dragons would jump right out of the gate quick and take the first two set, 25-21 and 25-18. New York University would collect themselves and rally in the next three sets to win the match 3-2. For the Red Dragons Erika Corbin (Kirkwood/Windsor) and Gabrielle Eppolito (Hamburg/Hamburg) would have 10 kills each. Senior Melissa Voyer (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) would have three service aces with three blocks, and classmate Jessica Pelaccio (Verplanck/Hendrick Hudson) led the team in assists with 32.

In the second match the Red Dragons would fall short to host team Stevens Institute of Technology 3-1. The Red Dragons would drop the first two sets by the score of 19-25 and 16-25. The Red Dragons would take the third set 26-24. Stevens would regroup and take the fourth set 25-15, to win the match 3-1. Voyer would have six blocks in the match and classmate J.Pelaccio had 32 assists. Freshman Lindsay Pelaccio (Verplanck/Hendrick Hudson) had 17 digs and senior Paige Carpluk (Yaphank/Bellport) had 12 kills.

The final match of the Duck Classic was against Stockton University. Stockton would beat the Red Dragons 3-1 taking the first, third and fourth sets. The Red Dragons would take the second set 26-24. In the match, Carpluk would have 10 kills and freshman Jessica Fowler (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills) would have 18 assists.

The Red Dragons next match is against Union College in Schenectady, NY on Tuesday, September 20^th.
