The SUNY Oneonta field hockey team traveled to take on the Hamilton Continentals in Clinton, NY. The Continentals would play strong offense outshooting the Red Dragons 29-2, and the Hamilton defense wouldn't allow a single penalty corner.
For the Red Dragons, sophomore goaltender
Cassandra Miller (Endwell/Maine-Endwell) would have a season high 15 saves on 29 shots. Miller held the Continentals to one goal on 15 shots in the first half to keep the Red Dragons in the match. In the second half the Continental's relentless offense would net two more goals to give Hamilton their ninth victory of the season.
The Continentals would improve to 9-4 and the Red Dragons would drop to 3-9 on the season. The Red Dragons are back in action at home on All College Field, Friday, October 21
