Oneonta, NY (Hartwick College) - The SUNY Oneonta Red Dragon's Men's Swimming and Diving  team were overwhelmed by a superior Hartwick Hawks squad when they traveled to their campus to compete in the annual city rivalry meet. The final score was 192-88 as the Hawks were dominant in almost every race.
In the tenth event of the day though the Red Dragon men did find a victor in the 100 yard breaststroke as sophomore
Zeke Brynin (Pleasantville/Pleasantville) touched the wall with a very impressive time of 1:00.53 more than three seconds ahead of the Hartwick runner-up. Brynin had success also in the 200 yard breaststroke as he was triumphant timing in at 2:12.50.Â
In the diving competition Red Dragon freshman
Thomas Gallery (Cortlandt Manor/Walter Panas) came in first with a score of 168.75 in the one-meter dive. Gallery also recorded a first place win with a score of 155.80 in the three-meter dive giving him his second win of the day.Â
The men's swimming and diving Team will be back in action on Friday, November 20th competing at the Franklin and Marshall Invitational in Lancaster, PA starting at 4 PM.
