Box Score The SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team scored three, second half goals en route to a 4-0 shutout of Oswego today on the road. The win for the Red Dragons completed a 2-0 SUNYAC opening weekend while raising its overall record to 6-2-2. The loss for the Lakers kept them winless on the season at 0-7-1.
Leading the offense today was sophomore
Zef Saljanin (Yorktown Heights/Yorktown), who netted a pair of goals including the opening score in the 38th minute of today's match. Saljanin's first goal was assisted by classmate
Sean Vinberg (Massapequa Park/Massapequa) while his second goal was unassisted in the 74th minute.
In between Saljanin's pair were goals by senior
Luke Halberg (Norwich/Valley Heights Christian Academy) and sophomore
Dylan Williams (Monroe/Monroe-Woodbury). Halberg's goal was in the 52nd minute and was assisted by classmate
Colin Volpe (Commack/St. Anthony's). Williams' goal was scored in the 60th minute and was unassisted.

Iain Byrne. "A great weekend and a great start to our conference schedule."
Oneonta completely dominated the Lakers, as they outshot them 18-1 overall in the match while earning six corners to the Lakers' one corner.
Junior
Daniel DeBottis (/) only had to make one save today, as he picked up his third win of the season along with recording his first shutout of the season.
Oneonta will be off until this coming Friday when they host SUNY Geneseo beginning at 4pm on Red Dragon Soccer Field.
