The Oneonta State women's tennis team didn't surrender a point on Saturday in sweeping Alfred and Oswego by the scores of 5-0 and 9-0 respectively. The matches, originally scheduled for Oneonta, were moved to Oswego after early weather reports predicted showers in the area for Saturday. Needeless to say that the only rain that fell was on the parade of Oswego and Alfred. With the two wins, Oneonta is now 7-2 overall on the season.

Because the match was delayed by wet courts, Oneonta played to official NCAA completion in its match against Alfred. The two teams completed the doubles, but only completed two of the matches during singles play. Winners in both flights were junior Danielle Browarski (Colonie/Colonie) (Colonie/Colonie) and sophomore Lauren Skolnick (Sayville/Sayville) (Sayville/Sayville). The two were victorious at first doubles, 8-3, before each of them winning their individual matches at first and third singles respectively in straight sets.

Versus Oswego, double winners included junior Jennifer Wlodarczyk (Avoca/Avoca Central) (Avoca/Avoca Central) and freshmen Brynn Sussman (Highland Mills/Monroe-Woodbury) (Highland Mills/Monroe-Woodbury) and Colette Lankowicz (Sayville/Sayville) (Sayville/Sayville). Lankowicz and Wlodarczyk won 8-2 at first doubles and then won at fifth and sixth singles respectively.

Sussman won at second doubles with her partner, Christina Wlodarczyk (Avoca/Avoca Central) (Avoca/Avoca Central), 8-0, and then she won, 6-1, 6-0 at second singles.
