The Oneonta State men's tennis team picked up a pair of wins yesterday on the road, sweeping both Alfred and Oswego. The Red Dragons shut out both opponents to raise its overall dual-match record to 4-1 this year.

Against Alfred, the men won 6-0 after completing just the singles matches, before moving on to shut out Oswego 9-0.

Singles winners versus Alfred were freshman David Goldberg (Scarsdale/Scarsdale) at first singles; freshman Mackenzie Park (Elmira/Elmira Free Academy) at second singles; senior Adam Shapiro (East Rockaway/Lynbrook) at third singles; senior Joey Milstein (Slingerlands/Guilderland) at fourth singles; seniors Adam Slifkin and his brother Joshua Slifkin (Flushing/Nordhoff (CA)) at fifth and sixth singles respectively.

Versus Oswego, double winners for Oneonta included Goldberg, Park, Milstein and freshman Jordan Reiley (Manorville/Eastport South Manor). Goldberg and Park teamed up to win at first doubles and then each won their respective matches at first and second singles.

Milstein won at third doubles with Reiley before taking his spot at third singles. Reiley won in straight sets at sixth singles.
