GENESEO, N.Y.—SUNY Oneonta senior Michael Diefenbacher (Marcy) scored in the eighth minute today and the defense made it stand in a 1-0 road win at Geneseo this afternoon in SUNYAC men's soccer action. The win for the Red Dragons raised its overall record to 6-2-1 and 3-1 in conference play.

Diefenbacher's goal was set up on a crossing pass from junior Matthew Brown (New Windsor), which found its way to the foot of Diefenbacher in close to the goal.

Sophomore Maxwell Siegelman (Roslyn Heights) made three saves to record the shutout.

Oneonta will be on the road tomorrow afternoon when it faces nationally ranked Brockport beginning at 1:00 p.m.
