Michael Grimes (Albany/Catholic Central)# scored 19 points to lead four players in double figures as the Red Dragons picked up a 75-68 road win tonight. The win for Oneonta (10-2/3-2) gets them to double digits in wins three games sooner than last season as they continue to play solid all-around basketball. The 10-2 start for the Red Dragons also matches the record through the first 12 games of a few teams of the past, but not done since the 1996-97 season.
Oneonta shot 48 percent in the opening half of tonight's contest, but held only a 27-25 lead as they turned the ball over 12 times in the first 20 minutes that led to 12 points for Oswego.

Troy Talbot (Brooklyn/The School for Legal Studies)# came off the bench to lead the Red Dragons with seven points.
In the second half, Grimes and classmate #
Brian Beckford (Brooklyn/Christ the King)# and junior #
Brian Hooks (Cohoes/Shaker)# led the charge for Oneonta, who quickly built a 14-point lead in the first four minutes out of the break. Grimes scored 14 points, Beckford scored 11 points and Hooks scored 13 points in the second half as Oneonta shot 57 percent from the field while maintaining its double digit lead for the bulk of the final 20 minutes.
Beckford finished the game with 15 points, four rebounds, five assists, five blocks and five steals. Talbot finished with 11 points in the game while Hooks had 18 points that included three, three-point baskets and a perfect 7-of-7 from the free throw line.
Oneonta will host Fredonia this Friday night for an 8:00 p.m. tip-off. The Blue Devils come to Oneonta 5-4 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
