ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Oneonta women's tennis senior Haley Peck (West Point, N.Y./James I. O'Neil) and junior Annika Cripe (Islip, N.Y./Islip) were named the first Spry SUNYAC Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week for the 2026-27 season, as announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon. The Red Dragon duo is the conference's team of the week for the week of August 31 to September 6 after they went 2-0 on the top court in doubles play, helping Oneonta start the season off 2-0.

In their season opening match against Utica, Peck and Cripe bageled Lyndsey Tiedemann and Averi Kraeger, 6-0, as the Red Dragons shutout the Pioneers, 7-0. In a tightly contested road match against Alfred, the Oneonta pair bested Alyssa Seegert and Becca Epping, 6-4, while the team held on for a 4-3 victory over the Saxons.

The Red Dragons (3-0) are back on the courts on Tuesday, September 15, when they host Sage at 4 pm at Dr. Heissan '63 Tennis Courts.
