ONEONTA, N.Y. - Seven home games highlight the announcement of the 2026 Oneonta field hockey schedule. The Red Dragons start the season on September 1 at Alfred before the home opener against Utica on September 4.

Oneonta hosts St. John Fisher the following day, on September 5, and then heads to Hartwick for the "Battle of the Hills" on September 9. The Red Dragons return home to welcome Elmira on September 15 before traveling to face Brockport on September 18.

The Red Dragons have a mid-week home game against Misericordia on September 23 before road contests at King's (September 26) and Castleton (September 30). SUNYAC action begins on October 1 with a home game against Morrisville, followed by a non-conference tilt at Skidmore on October 7.

The Red Dragons make their longest trip of the season to SUNYAC foe and nationally ranked Salisbury on October 11. Oneonta hosts Cortland on October 17 before a pair of non-conference games at Ramapo on October 21 and Manhattanville on October 24.

New Paltz comes to Oneonta on October 27 before the Red Dragons wrap up the regular season with a conference game at Oswego on October 31.

Oneonta finished the 2025 season at 9-8 overall and 2-3 in the conference, reaching the SUNYAC Semifinals.
