LA CROSSE, WI - Oneonta women's track & field Sophomore Natalia Sweat (Newburgh, NY/Newburgh) concluded the outdoor season finishing 17th in the 1,500-meter preliminary round at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday afternoon.
Sweat placed tenth in her heat to finish at 4:32.91. The time was her second fastest of the season.
Sweat finished the season as both the AARTFC champion and the SUNYAC Champion in the 1,500-meter event, and is the fourth Red Dragon to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championship in the 1,500.
Oneonta has one more student-athlete competing in hr national championship with senior Tariq Earl running in the 110-meter hurdles on Friday, May 22 at 5:25 p.m.
