LA PLUME, PA. -- The Oneonta wrestling team trounced Keystone College and Penn State Altoona in the Keystone Tri-Meet to improve to 3-0 in dual play, Tuesday afternoon. The Red Dragons defeated the Giants, 47-12, while they shutout the Lions 59-0. The team combined for four pins and two tech falls in the two wins.

Ryley Monica (Adams, NY/South Jefferson Central), and senior
Andrew Morris (Holland Patent, NY/Holland Patent) each recorded a pin in their respective matches against Keystone. Borowiec pinned Tanner Pringle in 57 seconds at 133 pounds, Monica posted a 2:02 fall over Codi Bomboy at 165 pounds, and Morris registered a 4:55 fall in the 285 lb. bout against James Craig. Jackson Maby (Susquehanna, PA/Susquehanna Community) bested Michael Palinkas at 149 pounds with a 19-1 tech fall in 1:47.

Cael Owen (Gillett, PA/Horseheads) defeated Gronzalo Santana Hernandez in a 15-0 tech fall in 2:28 at 165 lbs.

The Red Dragons are back in action on Saturday, January 10, for the Maganaro Duals at Ursinus College starting at 10 am. Oneonta will face Trinity College, Roger Williams, Johnson & Wales, and Arcadia.
