ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Oneonta men's tennis team had two Red Dragons pick up Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) East Division All-Conference awards following the 2024-25 season. Junior William Schmid (Yonkers/Salesian HS) and sophomore Chris Chippari (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Roy C Ketcham) both made first-team singles and first-team doubles. Additionally, freshman Seth Cheung (Somers, N.Y./Somers) made the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Schmid finished at 7-9 overall while posting a 6-4 record at the No. 2 position. A notable win came in the 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 split-set victory over Pfeiffer's No. 1 player. He went 9-9 at No. 1 doubles, playing alongside Chippari.

Chippari led the team with an 8-8 overall singles record, playing the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. He went 5-5 at No. 1. Chippari grabbed wins over Randolph-Macon (6-0, 6-3) and Baldwin Wallace (8-5). He also played the No. 1 doubles with Schmid, with nine No. 1 victories.

Cheung was selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team. An All-Sportsmanship Team was named to recognize individuals who demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season. It included one member from each team as chosen by that team. He amassed a 4-3 singles record and had four doubles wins.

Oneonta finished the season at 8-10 overall and was 1-1 in conference play.
