ONEONTA, N.Y. - Senior James Llewellyn (Great River, NY/East Islip) capped off a stellar season by being named the SUNYAC Men's Co-Swimmer of the Year for 2024-25. Llewellyn medaled in three events at the SUNYAC Swimming & Diving Championships.
Llewellyn earned SUNYAC All-Conference honors after finishing second in the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard backstroke at the 2025 SUNYAC-AMCC championship meet. He was also third in the 200-yard individual medley in a school record time of 1:53.93. Llewellyn was honored with the SUNYAC James Fulton Award at the championships, which is given annually to a senior based on a combination of career academic and athletic achievements.
The Red Dragons placed sixth out of ten teams at the SUNYAC-AMCC Championships.
