ONEONTA, N.Y. - Junior goalkeeper Bryanna Meehan (Roxbury, NY/Roxbury Central) earned SUNYAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Oneonta women's soccer team to a 2-0 win over Oswego on Saturday. Meehan garnered her first SUNYAC accolade after finishing with a perfect 1.000 save percentage.
Meehan grabbed her first shutout of the season as the Red Dragons opened SUNYAC play with a victory. The goalkeeper made four saves in the win, including a penalty kick save in the 39th minute to protect the shutout.
Oneonta is back on Wed. Oct. 2, when they travel to face Cortland at 4 p.m.
