ONEONTA, N.Y. - Senior Karsyn Kondracki (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown West) and junior Dominique DiOrio (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) both earned All-SUNYAC Third Team recognition as announced by the conference office on Thursday morning. The all-conference selections are the first for both in their careers.
Kondracki played and started all 16 games for the Red Dragons, primarily playing at outside back. Kondracki led Oneonta with ten points on a team-high four goals with two assists. She recorded a hat trick in the 9-1 win over Canton on Oct. 18. Kondracki finished the season with 17 shots, with 11 being on-goal attempts.
Joining Kondracki on the third team, DiOrio started all 16 games at centerback for the Oneonta defense. She was second on the team in total time played at 1,326 minutes, and netted her first-career goal in the win over Canton. Defensively, DiOrio helped the Red Dragons' defense to five shutouts. For her performance in the Mayor's Cup, DiOrio was named to the all-tournament team.
Oneonta finished the season at 4-8-4 overall and 2-4-3 in the SUNYAC.
