MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -Â Seniors Ejim Nnate (Port Jefferson Station, NY/Comsewogue) and Isabella Fabrizio (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall) are All-Americans following their performance at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon. Fabrizio took second-team honors in the shot put, while Nnate was second team in the 100-meter hurdles.Â
On her second throw, Fabrizio threw a personal best and Oneonta program record of 13.76 meters. The mark was good for 13th overall and All-American honors. MIT's Alexis Boykin was the individual champion at 15.44 meters.Â
Nnate made the All-American team after running a 14.59 in the prelims. She placed 16th overall, with Laura Mathews of Stevens winning the first round at 13.61. Â
Fabrizio and Ejim are the first Oneonta outdoor track All-Americans since 2016 and the first to earn the status in their respective events.Â
