CORTLAND, N.Y. -Â Senior Ejim Nnate (Port Jefferson Station, NY/Comsewogue) broke the 100-meter hurdle school record on the way to a fourth-place finish at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships on Thursday afternoon. The Red Dragons finished 13th with 21 points, while Geneseo took the team title with 83 points.
Nnate ran a 14.41 to break her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles and earn all-region status.Â
Senior Isabella Fabrizio (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall) earned second all-region in her second event by taking fourth in the shot put at 13.37 meters. Senior Emelene Burek (Latham, NY/Shaker) placed 23rd at 11.01 meters.Â
Oneonta now awaits to see what athletes qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.Â
