Oneonta Women's Track & Field Competes at Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, PA - The Oneonta women's track & field team concluded action at the highly competitive Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic over the weekend. The meet included Division I, II, and III teams.

In the track events, freshman Nicolette DuBose (Levittown, NY/Island Trees) ran a personal best of 13.43 in the 100-meter dash to place 87th overall. Junior Danielle Jackson (Bronx, NY/Central Park East) took 96th in the 200-meter (27.05), while freshman Brianna Senatore () ran a personal best of 27.16 to place 99th. 

Jackson ran a 1.00.65 in the 400-meter race to finish 62nd overall. Sophomore Eva Woodworth (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) crossed 28th in the 800-meter race (2:31.19). Senior Sierra Basco (Albany, NY/Shaker) recorded a personal record time of 5:03.79 to take 96th in the 1,500-meter race. Junior Sabrinna Mena (Holtsville, NY/Sachem East) ran an 18:48.31 in the 5,000-meter race to finish 49th. Senior Megan Francoeur (New Lebanon, NY/Pittsfield (MA)) ran an AARTFC qualifying time of 37:51.33 to finish 33rd in the 10,000-meter race. 

Senior Ejim Nnate (Port Jefferson Station, NY/Comsewogue) was the top Division III finisher in the 100-meter hurdles at tenth overall (14.68). Nnate took 32nd in the long jump at 5.02 meters.

Senior Isabella Fabrizio (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall) was the highest Division III athlete in the shot put, finishing seventh (13.11 meters) and 24th (43.88 meters) in the hammer throw. Junior Sage Douglass (Pine Plains, NY/Stissing Mountain) threw 32.74 meters in the javelin to finish 36th. 

Oneonta next competes at the Cortland Classic on Fri. Apr. 19 at 2 p.m.
