ONEONTA, N.Y. -Â Oneonta men's basketball senior Graham Wooden (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) garnered 2023-24 Division III Academic All-District honors, as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday afternoon. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.Â
Wooden is an exercise science major with a 3.89 cumulative GPA and started 26 games this past season. He was fourth on the team in scoring at 10.9 points a game and fifth in rebounding at 4.3 boards a game. Wooden led the team with 62 assists and was second with 26 steals. The senior guard shot .410 from the field and was .364 percent from three-point range. Wooden was the team's top free throw shooter at .839 percent.Â
To be recognized on the Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and enrolled full-time with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. The student-athletes must also have competed in 90 percent of the institutions' games or must start in at least 66 percent of games.Â
