BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The Oneonta women's swimming & diving team is sixth with 189 points following the third day of the SUNYAC Championships.
Junior Lena Nakken (Islip, NY/Islip) placed tenth in the 200-yard freestyle at 2:04.95, while senior Sophia Olson (Scotia, NY/Scotia Glenville) earned 12th at 2:06.76.
In the 100-yard backstroke, sophomore Jessica Shaw (Pearl River, NY/Pearl River) placed tenth at 1:05.18. Senior Emma Stephenson (Owego, NY/Owego Free Academy) finished at 1:12.27 in the 100-yard breaststroke to take eighth overall.
Olson continued to swim a 5:06.47 in the 400-yard IM for 11th place.
The Oneonta 400-yard medley relay of Shaw, juniors Cadence Dudley (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) and Anna McCall (Ligonier, PA/Ligonier Valley), and sophomore Allison LaBarbera (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook) swam a 4:23.77 to finish sixth overall.
The Red Dragons conclude the SUNYAC Championships on Sat. Feb. 24, starting at 10 a.m.
