WILKES-BARRE, PA. -- The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team traveled to Wilkes University for the John Reese Duals and went 1-2 with a win against Penn. College of Technology, Sunday afternoon. The Red Dragons moved to 11-5 on the season in dual matches as they beat the Wildcats, 24-21, and fell to Springfield College, 31-16, and Wilkes, 34-16.

Billy Colloca (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon Senior High) recorded a 1:24 fall at 125 lbs, senior
Kenneth Sauer (Franklin/Franklin) pinned his opponent in 5:55 at 174 lbs, and sophomore
Carson LiCastri (Redding, CT/Joel Barlow High School) secured the victory for the Red Dragons with a 1:33 fall in the 197 lbs match. Senior
Max Yahre (Plainview, N.Y./Plainview JFK) took a 9-8 decision over Liam Goodrich at 157 lbs and senior
James DeLucia (Bohemia, N.Y./Connetquot) won the 184 bout with an 8-4 decision against Andy Muzika.
Against Springfield, senior
Anderson Klosner (Ilion/Central Valley Academy) and Yahre won decisions at 149 and 157, respectively. Sauer pinned Oliver Parker in 1:50 at 174, and LiCastri had a 13-1 major decision against Casey Allen at 197.
Colloca registered his second fall of the day against Wilkes Connor Kerwin at 1:59. Senior
Peter Sacco (Vestal/Vestal) pinned Colonels Mason Livio in 4:45 at 141 and sophomore
Aydin DeForest (West Winfield, NY/Mount Markham) defeated Trevor DuBoff with a 16-5 major decision at 165 lbs.
The Red Dragons are back in action on Saturday, February 3, for the Ithaca Quad meet to compete against Ithaca, Wesleyan, and Williams, starting at noon.
