Box Score TROY, N.Y. -- The SUNY Oneonta women's tennis team dropped their non-conference match against RPI, 9-0 Monday afternoon. The Red Dragons dropped to 3-3 on the season, while the Engineers improved to 2-0 overall. Â

Hailey O'Connor (Mastic Beach, N.Y./William Floyd) and
Haley Peck (West Point, N.Y./James I. O'Neil) had the closest doubles match on the No. 3 court, but were bested by Prisha Rapur and Brooke Bauer, 8-3. On the No. 1 court, seniors
Brianna Shaw (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis) and
Sophia Schutte (Great Neck, N.Y./Great Neck) came up short to Nicole Ridenour and Krisia Flores, 8-2. Â
The teams agreed to play a pro set for singles play. Schutte and Peck each dropped their singles match, 8-3, on the No. 2 and No. 5 courts, respectively. Senior
Julia Holtermann (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis) faced Ridenour on the No. 1 court where Ridenour came away with an 8-2 win. Â
The Red Dragons are back in action tomorrow when they travel to play Houghton at 4 pm.
