ONEONTA, N.Y. - Junior Isabella Fabrizio (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall) is the SUNYAC Field Athlete of the Week after a solid performance at the Cortland Classic.
Fabrizio placed second in the women's shot put with a throw of 13.18 meters. She then hit a personal best of 47.93 to take third in the hammer throw. Fabrizio also placed 11th in the discus event at 32.14 meters.
Fabrizio currently ranks 15th in the nation and first in the SUNYAC in the shot put, and third in the conference in the hammer throw.
Oneonta returns to action for the RPI Capital District Classic on Sat. Apr. 29.
