ITHACA, N.Y. - The Oneonta women's track & field team wrapped up the first day of the Ithaca Bomber Invitational on Saturday with some solid individual performances. There was no team scoring, but the Red Dragons competed in most events.

The Red Dragons began with the 60-meter hurdles prelims, with junior Ejim Nnate (Port Jefferson Station, NY/Comsewogue) placing second to reach the finals at a personal record of 9.07. She finished second in the finals with a time of 9.22. Sophomore Danielle Jackson (Bronx, NY/Central Park East) placed 14th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.34.

Junior Ella DePhillips (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury) earned a third-place finish in the 800-meter and crossed the line at 2:23.26. Jackson ran a 27.50 to take seventh in the 200-meter. 

In the 3,000-meter race, junior Olivia O'Donnell (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) set a personal record of 11:07.50 to place sixth overall. 

Oneonta fielded a 4x400 relay that took fifth overall. Jackson, DePhillips, Taylor Johnson (White Plains, NY/White Plains), and Ashlee Sphabmixay (Vestal, NY/Vestal) ran a season-best time of 4:28.22. 

In the throwing events, junior Isabella Fabrizio (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall) won the shot put with a mark of 12.65 meters. Junior Emelene Burek () threw 11.61 meters to take third overall. Sophomore Teghan Garris (Dryden, NY/Dryden) was seventh at 11.13 meters. In the weight throw, Fabrizio placed third at 14.46, while senior Hannah Jackson (Poughquag, NY/Arlington) marked 13.84 meters to finish fifth. Senior Christina Groleau (Staten Island/Susan E. Wagner) placed eighth with 13.38 meters. 

Oneonta has two athletes competing in Sunday morning's pentathlon in sophomore Sage Douglass (Pine Plains, NY/Stissing Mountain) and senior Josephine Alliano (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa).
