ITHACA, N.Y. - The Oneonta women's diving team traveled for the Ithaca Dick Comanzo Diving Invitational on Sunday morning, with three Red Dragons competing.Â
The morning diving consisted of 11 dives on each board, starting with the women's 3-meter and then the 1-meter. In the 3-meter, sophomore Margaret Nolan (North Bellmore, NY/Mepham) was the top Red Dragon, scoring a season-best of 331.65 for tenth place. Freshman Macayla Hodkinson (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage) improved her season high to 295.75, while sophomore Paige Splendido (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) scored 276.90.
All three divers set season-high scores in the 1-meter dive. Nolan again was the top Oneonta finisher in tenth place with 340.55 points. Hodkinson scored 330.15 for 11th, and Splendido had 270.05 points.Â
Oneonta next travels for a dual meet against Cortland on Sat. Jan. 28 at 1 p.m.
