A Quick Look
The SUNY Oneonta men's track & field team competed for the final time during the indoor season yesterday, when they completed its two days at the AARTFC championship hosted by Nazareth College. The Red Dragons collected a total of 12 points, which put them in 17
th place overall in the final team standings.

The Inside Story
The Red Dragons had seven individuals compete in the event with four of them scoring points. The group included senior
Norberto Cervantes (Williamson/Williamson), junior
Chris Ganley (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) and sophomores
Eion McClain (Andover, NJ/Pope John XXIII),
Vincent Zheng (Nanuet/Nanuet),
Aidan Kelly (Farmingdale/Farmingdale),
Luke Jarski (Massapequa/Massapequa) and
Jonthomas Bierman (Mamaroneck/Mamaroneck).

The top place-finisher for Oneonta was McClain who placed fifth in the 5K crossing with a personal best time of 15:06.25.

Next was Bierman who was sixth in the 3K event posting a time of 8:35.86.

Also taking sixth place was Kelly in the heptathlon where he scored a total of 4,039 points.

Oneonta's final scorer was Jarski who took eighth place in the 800-meter run crossing in 1:56.64.

Ganley competed in the 60-meter dash and finished 14
th overall. Cervantes competed in the weight throw and finished 13
th overall. Zheng finished 22
nd in the shot put.

What's Next
Oneonta will now turn its attention to the outdoor season that begins at the Hamilton Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 2
nd.
