The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team defeated SUNY Oswego 24-16 at Oswego. The Red Dragons are now 8-6 on the season, while the Lakers move to 3-5.

The Inside Story
The Red Dragons started off 15-0, winning the first three matches of the meet. The three match winners were senior Tyler Skala (East Quogue/Westhampton Beach) (125), senior Anthony Romero (Spring Valley/Ramapo) (133), and junior Michael Blando (Massapequa/Massapequa) (141), with Skala and Blando winning via pinfall.

Graduate Student Tyler Brazinski (Johnson City/Johnson City) (165) won his match via decision, to put Oneonta up 18.0-9.0. Junior Jhordyn Innocent (Spring Valley/Ramapo) (197) and senior Jacob Pine (Hoosick Falls/Hoosick Falls) (285) closed the match out, both with decision victories.

The Red Dragons return to action for the Tiger Duals at RIT, in Rochester, on Sunday at 11 am.
