A Quick Look
The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team traveled to Rochester for the Tiger Duals at RIT Sunday morning. The Red Dragons split the day, 1-1, moving them to 9-7 on the season.

The Inside Story
The team lost their first match against RIT 42.0-9.0. Senior Anthony Romero (Spring Valley/Ramapo) (133) and sophomore Diego Orellana (Ossining/Ossining) (285) defeated their opponents in the match, Orellana won via pinfall.  

Oneonta came out strong for the second match, defeating Penn College 37.0-6.0. Juniors Michael Blando (Massapequa/Massapequa) (141), Nick Florin (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) (184), and Jhordyn Innocent (Spring Valley/Ramapo) (197) won their matches via pinfall. Sophomore Kenneth Sauer (Franklin/Franklin) (174) earned a major decision victory in his match.

What's Next
The Red Dragons travel to Elizabethtown, Pa., on Friday, for the two-day NCAA Mideast Regionals event.
