Oneonta began its comeback from the outset of the fourth quarter making it a two-possession game with 35 seconds to go after a three-pointer by junior
Olivia Dobrovosky (Skaneateles/Skaneateles). The basket capped a 12-2 run over a three-minute stretch that included a pair of long-range bombs from junior
Meg Nardelli (Wappingers Falls/Roy C. Ketcham).

After Danielle Caivana made 1-of-2 free throws, Oneonta had four looks to get even closer, but couldn't connect. Dobrovosky scored on a put back with one-second left for the final.

The Lakers shot 57 percent from the floor in the first quarter grabbing a 19-13 lead entering the second quarter. Shania Iglesias paced the Oswego offense with 11 points in the quarter. Iglesias led all scorers today with 20 points.

The two teams struggled offensively in the second quarter combining for 20 points. Oswego came out on top 12-8 to push its halftime lead to 31-21.

The Lakers took advantage of another rough shooting quarter for Oneonta in the third quarter building its lead to 21 points with under one minute to go. Oswego connected on 6-of-17 from the floor including 4-of-10 from behind the arc.

Oneonta was led today by Nardelli's 11 points. The Red Dragons corralled 42 rebounds including 18 offensive boards. Oneonta held the advantage in points off turnovers (14-8), points in the paint (24-14) and second chance points (18-8).

Oneonta will prepare for its final weekend of the regular season, which will be home beginning Friday night versus Potsdam beginning at 5:30pm.
