A Quick Look
The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team traveled to PA today to compete in the John Reese Duals hosted by Wilkes University.  The Red Dragons came away with a 1-2 record on the day with its only victory against West Virginia Tech.
 
The Inside Story
In Oneonta's lone win versus West Virginia Tech, three individuals recorded pins to score 18 of the team's 45 points.  Recording pins were juniors Michael Blando (Massapequa/Massapequa) (141) and Ryan Meisner (Lindenhurst/Lindenhurst) (157) and senior Jacob Pine (Hoosick Falls/Hoosick Falls) (285).
 
Blando, Meisner and Pine finished the day with a pair of wins as did graduate student Tyler Brazinski (Johnson City/Johnson City).  Both of Blando's and Meisner's wins came via pinfall.  Pine and Brazinski each recorded one pin on the day.
 
What's Next
Oneonta was scheduled to host King's College this coming Wednesday, but that match has been canceled.  The next action for the Red Dragons is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 5^th at home when they are scheduled to compete against Ithaca, Williams and Wesleyan.
