Daniel Derice (Tampa, FL/Wesley Chapel) scored a game high and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead the SUNY Oneonta men's basketball team to an 88-60 win versus Fredonia tonight at home. The win for the Red Dragons snapped a four-game skid and raised its overall record to 7-6 and 3-3 in the SUNYAC. The loss for the Blue Devils kept them winless at 0-12 overall and 0-5 in the conference.

"I thought we came out with a good defensive mindset, which is something we have been working on for a while," said head coach
Cameron Conover. "We are happy with the win, and we did some good things, however, I think our guys know we still have a lot to work in all areas of the game.   Tomorrow is another opportunity to continue to get better."
