A Quick Look
The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team journeyed south to Scranton, PA yesterday to compete in the Electric City Duals hosted by Scranton.  The Red Dragons posted a pair of shutouts and came home with a second place finish overall going 4-1 as a team.
 
The Inside Story
In non-exhibition matches, three individuals were perfect on the day led by graduate student Tyler Brazinski (Johnson City/Johnson City) who was 5-0.  Two of his victories were by pinfall in the identical time of 20 seconds.
 
Juniors Jhordyn Innocent (Spring Valley/Ramapo) and Nino Prisco (Mount Kisco/Fox Lane) combined for seven wins on the day including a pair of pins.
 
In exhibition matches, juniors Tyler Farley (Bay Shore/Bay Shore) and Kevin Jorgensen (Bohemia/Connetquot) were 3-0 and 2-0 respectively.  Both of Jorgensen's wins were via pinfall.
 
Sophomore heavyweight Diego Orellana (Ossining/Ossining) posted a pair of pinfall victories including one in the match against the Scranton "B" team.
 
The final two undefeated wrestlers yesterday were true freshmen Joel Zea (Queens/Thomas Edison) and Jack Kohrs (Monroe/Monroe Woodbury).
 
What's Next
The Red Dragons will travel to Cortland this Saturday to compete in the 2021 NYS Collegiate championships.
