A Quick Look
The SUNY Oneonta volleyball team dropped a pair of matches Saturday afternoon at Chase Gymnasium. The Red Dragons overcame a 2-0 deficit to Vassar to knot the match up at 2-2, but ultimately fell to the Brewers 3-2. In the Nightcap, Oneonta dropped a 3-0 decision to Alfred University. The Red Dragons are now 3-12 on the season.

Just the Stats
Against Vassar, Caitlin Christie (Bay Shore/Bay Shore) led Oneonta with ten kills while Ashlee Mazzella (Warwick/Warwick Valley) and Ashanti Davis (Cortlandt Manor/Hendrick Hudson) chipped in with eight apiece. Davis also added a match-high four blocks. Kayla Rende (Wantagh/Wantagh) delivered four service aces while Carsyn Rachuta (Holbrook/Sachem North) had a match-best 21 digs.

In the nightcap against Alfred University, Ashanti Davis (Cortlandt Manor/Hendrick Hudson), Isabella Fabrizio (Highland Mills/Cornwall) and Caitlin Christie (Bay Shore/Bay Shore) finished with a team-best seven kills each. Sophia Gerace (Pearl River/Pearl River) added 16 assists while Carsyn Rachuta (Holbrook/Sachem North) had 12 digs.

What's Next
The Red Dragons return to action on Friday, October 8^th when they travel to Fredonia for a SUNYAC match against the Blue Devils beginning at 6:00pm.
