A Quick Look
The SUNY Oneonta women's volleyball team split their pair of matches on Saturday. The Red Dragons began their day with a 3-1 loss to Stockton University to start the day before defeating Marywood 3-0 to wrapped up the Cortland Red Dragon Volleyball Classic.

The Inside Story
Gillian Stieglitz (Montrose/Hendrick Hudson) paced Oneonta with a team high 22, capping off her outstanding weekend by being named to the All-Tournament Team. Clara Culeton (Oswego/Oswego) contributed 15 kills and four blocks while earning a .577 hitting percentage. Victoria Moulder (Wantagh/Kellenberg Memorial) had 13 kills while Adriana Losier (Fishkill/John Jay) added 12.  Moulder led the Red Dragons with seven blocks, while Kathryn Johnston (Altamont/Guilderland) chipped in with ten kills.

"I'm very pleased with the way we performed this weekend", said Head Coach Ashley Coyle. "With the help of strong upperclassmen leadership and young talent, this weekend serves as the beginning of a very exciting upcoming season. We intend to build from this very solid start and continue to grow our game when we are back in the gym this week."

What's Next
The Red Dragons return to action on Friday, September 6^th when they travel to the New Paltz  Invitational to play Alfred University at 4:00pm.
