The SUNY Oneonta women's lacrosse completely dominated Eastern University today in the first of two contests in Florida. Six players registered multiple goals in the lopsided victory.

Oneonta (2-1) led from start to finish jumping out to an 8-0 lead in the opening 10 minutes of play. Seniors
Kelsey Cohen (Baldwin/Baldwin) and
Lauren Bascelli (Williston Park/Herricks), junior
Victoria Varone (Commack/Commack) and sophomore
Sophia Calabrese (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Central) each scored a pair of goals to account for the eight tallies.

The Red Dragons led comfortably at halftime 12-2 after adding four more goals to its side of the scoreboard. Varone and Bascelli scored again as did junior
Erin Fowler (East Meadow/East Meadow) and sophomore
Maggee Sheridan (Warwick/Warwick Valley).

Seven unanswered goals at the beginning of the second half secured the win for Oneonta.
