"Although we did not begin the conference the way that we wanted, our team rallied back for our competition on Saturday and competed in one of the most exciting matches we played all season. After our loss against Oswego, we reflected that this conference is competitive and although starting out with a loss can be tough, we need to continue to fight our way through the conference. There was no use of wallowing in our loss because we have other battles that need to be fought for the next day and for the duration of our SUNYAC Pool Play", said Coach
Ashley Coyle.
"On Saturday, Oneonta tapped into a competitive energy that grew throughout our Potsdam match and ultimately pushed Geneseo to a five set match. We were able to stay gritty throughout each set, especially during Geneseo, and prove to ourselves that we are capable of playing a high level volleyball. Our performance on Saturday is a testament to the resilience our team has to grow from adversity and pursue greatness from here on out. We will keep growing, competing, and preparing for our next round in the SUNYAC ring", added Coach
Ashley Coyle.
The Red Dragons will host Scranton University on Wednesday, September 26
