The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team dropped all three matches at the North East Duals on Saturday afternoon. The Red Dragons opened the day with a 28-16 loss to third ranked Johnson & Wales University. Oneonta then fell to 20^th ranked WPI 28-16 before coming up short against Castleton University 20-19.
 
Senior heavy weight James Bethel (Saugerties/Saugerties) improved to 22-0 on the year with three wins on Saturday. Bethel opened the day with a pin of Greg Vaughan of Johnson & Wales in 2:53. Against WPI, Bethel earned a 9-0 major decision over Austin Shrewsbury. Bethel then capped off his day with another 9-0 major decision over Castleton's Jesse Webb.
 
Tyler Brazinski (Johnson City/Johnson City) earned a pair of wins on the day in the 149 weight class. Brazinski began his day with a 4-1 decision over Mitchell Cook from Johnson & Wales. Brazinski gathered his second win with a 9-4 decision over Castleton's Cooper Fleming.
 
Ryan Marszal (Unadilla/Unatego) also earned two wins on Saturday in the 184 pound weight class. Marszal began his day with a 15-3 decision over Ryan DeVico of Johnson & Wales. In one of the best matches of the afternoon, Marszal pinned Castleton's Alexander Green at the 6:59 mark of a hard fought battle.
