He was aggressive from the starting whistle, earning three takedowns and a couple of four-point near falls just in the first period. Troy Seymour (Dec. 8-2) and Trevor Hoffmier (Dec. 2-0) also earned wins during the Lakers 14-point run to reclaim the lead (14-11).

Sophomore Lantze Lange (Smithtown/Smithtown West) got Oneonta even with a 6-4 decision at 184 lbs. before Oswego's Jordan Bushey put the Lakers in front again by earning a major decision (10-2) over Peter Pjetri (Suffern/Suffern).

In the final match of the evening, Oneonta's James Bethel (Saugerties/Saugerties) recorded a 9-1 major decision against Kade Andrews to tie the match at 18 apiece.
