The potent Brockport attack proved to be too much for the SUNY Oneonta women's lacrosse team today, as the visiting Golden Eagles soared to a 16-2 victory today in SUNYAC action. The loss for Oneonta dropped them to 3-7 overall and 0-2 in the conference while No. 12 Brockport remained perfect at 8-0 overall and 2-0 in the SUNYAC.

Brockport jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Keeley Rice and Samantha Dooling before junior
Katie Flannery (Massapequa/Plainedge) put Oneonta on the board. The Golden Eagles then ripped off four unanswered goals to take a 6-1 lead midway through the opening half. Rice had a hand in four of the first six goals for Brockport en route to compiling five points in the contest.

Catherine Clark (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills) at the 13:01 mark of the first half, as the Golden Eagles added four more goals to grab a commanding 10-2 lead at halftime.

Kelly Wall and Hannah Cullen each scored a pair of goals in the second half to lead the Brockport attack.

Jaclyn Marry (Long Beach/Long Beach) made a season high 14 saves in goal today for Oneonta including many from point blank range.

Oneonta won't have long to recover as they host defending national champion Cortland on Tuesday beginning at 4pm. The rival Red Dragons are currently ranked No. 1 in Division III.
