SUNY Oneonta wrestling team ended its dual season on Saturday by defeating RIT 21-15. The win gave them a final season record of 9-13.
The match started at 149lbs, and Oneonta fell behind 6-0 before Evan Wallace defeated Joe Cutugno at 165lbs to cut the RIT lead in half. Oneonta would lose the 174lb class by a pin and then would win the next six matches to seal the victory including a forfeit at the 197lb class.
Wrestling will next compete at the Northeast Regionals at Springfield College on Feburary 27
th and 28
th.
