The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team competed in the Electric City Duals today hosted by Scranton.  The Red Dragons placed second overall due to a tie breaker after both teams came into the final match 3-0. In the final match, the two teams would tie 22-22.  Both teams won five individual matches with two pins each do the overall winner was decided by the third tiebreaker where Scranton finished with 35 total points to Oneonta's 29 in a tally of points scored in decisions, major decisions and tech falls.

For the Red Dragons, junior James Bethel (Saugerties/Saugerties) was a perfect 4-0 with all wins coming via pins. Also perfect on the day was sophomore Peter Pjetri (Suffern/Suffern) (4-0). Austin Sisco (Denville/Pope John Regional) at 133 pounds recorded three wins, including two pins against Castleton and Scranton.
 
The Red Dragons are back in action next weekend at the NYS Collegiate Championships at Cornell on Saturday Nov. 20^th.
