Â
"Fair play to Potsdam as they made the game harder than the score indicates," said Head Coach

Â
Santangelo's first goal came in the waning minutes of the first half to give Oneonta a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. The goal was assisted by senior

Â

th minute when he knocked home a rebound after a shot by sophomore
Carlos Martinez (Brentwood/Brentwood) was saved by the Potsdam keeper.
Â
Purtell figured in Oneonta's next goal less than three minutes later, as he assisted on Santangelo's second goal.
Â
Martinez capped the scoring in the match in the 85
th minute assisted by junior
Austin Hughes (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa).
Â
Freshman
Ryan Wilson (Poughkeepsie/Arlington) made a pair of saves in the match to notch his third straight shutout. Wilson is now 10-1-1 with seven shutouts.
