Â
Rookie
Taylor Casey (Garden City South/Kellenberg Memorial) did what she does best, scoring early. The freshman buried a feed from
Heather Fitzpatrick (Plainview/Plainview JFK) just a minute and a half into the contest. Senior Nnikki Fioretti followed up four minutes later as she netted her 34
th goal of the year on a man-up, individual effort.
Â
Casey netted her second goal of the contest at the 14:28 mark on another man-up opportunity. Her 62
nd goal of the season came unassisted. Senior

Â
Geneseo got a pair back before the end of the half, first at 21:52 from Liz Felix, then at 26:17 by Julia DePillo. Both goals were unassisted.
Â
The Red Dragons outshot the Knights 13-10 in the opening frame. They controlled five draws compared the visitors two.
Â
The offense wasted no time getting back to work in the second half. Donodeo buried a Casey feed just 36 ticks into the closing stanza. The senior tallied all three second half goals for Oneonta, the remaining two each coming in response to back-to-back goals by Geneseo.
Â
With the score tied at six, Donodeo capped off the home scoring with her 41
