The Red Dragons defeat the Potsdam Bears 87-58 in their home opener. Senior Jackson Zuvic (Cold Spring/Haldane) scored a game high 22 points and had five rebounds for the Red Dragons. Classmate Lawrence Coleman (Croton on the Hudson/Hendrick Hudson) added 12 points and Jack Dignan (Brewster/Brewster) had 11 points with four assists.

The Red Dragons defense held the visiting Bears to shooting 11.8% from beyond the arc and 27% from the field. The also forced 18 turnovers and had 10 steals as a team.

The Red Dragons dominated the inside game by scoring 42 of their 87 points in the paint.

Coming off of the bench, Ian Schupp (New Hampton/Goshen) and Jack Kolosky (Fishkill/Our Lady of Lourdes) each scored 10 points. The bench accounted for 35 points in the game for the Red Dragons.

The Red Dragons look to keep things rolling tomorrow as they take on Plattsburgh at 4:00pm at the Dewar Arena.
