The SUNY Oneonta wrestling team traveled to Wilkes University yesterday to compete in the annual John Reese Duals.  The banged up Red Dragons came away 1-2 on the day with its lone victory coming against Rowan in its opening match.  Oneonta Fell to both York (Pa) College and Stevens Institute.
 
Grabbing a pair of wins on the day for Oneonta were sophomores Anthony Messina (Farmingville/Sachem East) and Daniel DeCarlo (Port Jervis, NY/Port Jervis).  DeCarlo's wins were both by decision while Messina recorded a forfeit win and a sudden victory decision.
 
Oneonta will compete next Sunday at the New York State Collegiate Championships at Cornell University.
