NEW YORK, N.Y. – The SUNY Oneonta women's volleyball team traveled to the Big Apple to play in the NYU Violet Classic. Oneonta went 0-3 on the weekend, falling 3-0 to NYU, 3-1 to Richard Stockton, and 3-1 to Western New England.

Hannah O'Neil (Brookhaven/Bellport) led the Red Dragon offense against NYU with a hitting percentage of .429 killing eight of her 14 total attack attempts. Setter
Karly Greco (East Patchogue/Bellport) handed out a match-high 15 assists, while
Allyson Coniglione (Glenville/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) added 11 digs defensively. The line score for the contests read 13-25, 24-26, 18-25 in favor of the host.

The Red and White returned to action this morning against Richard Stockton. The four set affair had a line score of 19-25, 25-23, 13-25, 19-25.
Erika Corbin (Kirkwood/Windsor) paced the Red Dragon attack with a dozen kills on 23 attempts. The 23 assists from
Erin Avery (Harpursville/Harpursville) led all participants.
Jill Darpino (Endicott/Union Endicott) and Coniglione each had a dozen digs defensively.

Kristen Polan (Westhampton/Westhampton Beach) killed a team high 20 balls in the Red Dragons loss to Western New England. Greco tied the match-high of 17 assists. The line score resulted 23-25, 15-25, 25-20, 17-25.

The Red Dragons (10-6) return to Dewar Arena next weekend to host SUNYAC Pool Play. They host New Paltz on Friday at 5 p.m. and Cortland and Potsdam on Saturday.
